The Indian stock market is open in the green zone today i.e. Monday 28th October. On Friday also the market closed down by 660 points. Today the Sensex is trading at 79,700 with a rise of more than 300 points. At the same time, a rise of more than 50 points is being seen in Nifty, Nifty is also trading at the level of 24,250. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 24 are rising and six are declining. Banking, IT and energy stocks are seeing more growth today.
Shares of 25 out of 30 Sensex companies opened in the green.
When the stock market opened on the first day of trading, out of 30 Sensex companies, 25 companies opened in the green with gains and the remaining 5 companies opened in the red. Similarly, out of 50 companies included in Nifty 50, shares of 30 companies opened in the green mark with an increase, shares of 14 companies opened in the red mark with a fall and shares of the remaining 6 companies opened unchanged.
A decline was seen in the market on Friday
Earlier on Friday i.e. 25th October, a huge fall was seen in the stock market. Sensex closed at 79,402 with a fall of 662 points or 0.83 percent. Nifty also fell 218 points or 0.90 percent and closed at 24,180. Whereas smallcap fell by 1,307 points or 2.44 percent and closed at the level of 52,335.
