PM Modi to inaugurate military aircraft manufacturing plant tomorrow

Latest News :- Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate Tata Group's military aircraft manufacturing plant in Gujarat tomorrow. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat tomorrow. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sanchez inaugurated the campus of Tata Advanced Systems Company (DASL) in Vadodara. The C-295 aircraft required for the army is going to be manufactured in this complex. This is the biggest milestone in India's military logistics production.

Prime Minister Modi had laid the foundation stone of this plant in October 2022. India has signed an agreement with Airbus to purchase a total of 56 C-295 aircraft for the Indian Army. Of these, 16 aircraft will be manufactured in Spain and delivered to India. The remaining 40 aircraft will be manufactured by DASL. It will be the first private facility to manufacture military aircraft.

Not only Tata company but also public sector companies like Bharat Electronics and Bharat Dynamics and some micro, small and medium companies will contribute to this aircraft production project. Later PM Modi will visit Lakshmi Vilas Palace in Vadodara. From there, PM Modi will go to Amreli to inaugurate Bharat Mata Sarovar Dam at 2.45 pm. Apart from this, he is going to inaugurate projects worth Rs 4,800 crore and lay the foundation stone of some projects in a public program organized there.
