This BJP leader will give competition to Hemant Soren on Barhet seat, party announced

CM Hemant Soren is contesting from Barhet

Let us tell you that Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren is contesting from Barhet assembly seat, hence BJP has given ticket to Gamliyal Hembrom in front of him. Earlier in the year 2019, Hembrom had contested elections from Barhet on AJSU Party ticket, however, he had got only 2,573 votes here and lost the election.

Apart from this, BJP has made Vikas Mahato its candidate from Tundi seat. That means both Hemant Soren and Hembrom are facing each other for the second time from this seat. Last time Hemant Soren won the election from this seat, he defeated BJP candidate Simon Malto by more than 25 thousand votes.

Jharkhand elections will be held in two phases

Let us tell you that voting for assembly elections is to be held in Jharkhand and Maharashtra next month. While in Maharashtra, voting will be held in a single phase, in Jharkhand, voting will be held in two phases. Voting will be held in Jharkhand on 13th and 20th November, while in Maharashtra, voting will be held on 20th November. Along with this, by-elections will also be held on 48 assembly seats in 15 states. Whereas votes will also be cast on three Lok Sabha seats.
