Why Gary Kirsten resigns as Pakistan’s white-ball coach?: Former South African batsman Gary Kirsten has resigned from the post of coach of white ball format of Pakistan cricket team. Which has been accepted by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Now Test team head coach Jason Gillespie will take over this responsibility for the Australia tour. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed the resignation of Gary Kirsten in the ex post on Monday. The PCB wrote, “The Pakistan Cricket Board today announced that its resignation has been accepted by Gary Kirsten after he submitted it. “Jason Gillespie will coach the Pakistan men’s cricket team on its white-ball tour of Australia next month.” Let us tell you that Pakistan team is going to start the tour of Australia from November 4, where the team has to play ODI and T20I series.

Gary Kirsten resigned for this reason

According to Cricbuzz, serious differences have been reported between Kirsten and the players. Although the PCB may not have directly influenced the situation, Kirsten's request to appoint David Reid as high performance coach did not receive the board's support. Instead, the PCB reportedly suggested alternatives, which were not acceptable to Kirsten.

Earlier, after being out of the T20 World Cup, Kirsten had openly criticized the players of the Pakistan team. Kirsten said there was “no unity” in the team and that he had “never seen a situation like this” in his long coaching career. After which information about serious differences between Kirsten and Pakistan players came to light.
