Delhi High Court has ordered to delete the harsh observations of the trial court against the investigating officer of ED. Justice Anup Jairam Bhambhani said that such comments against a government official are not justified as they can have a negative impact on the official record and career.

The High Court also agreed that it is not mandatory for the accused to appear in court; Citing the Supreme Court's comments, the High Court said that it is not right to pressurize a government official to appear in the court continuously; The High Court said that the harsh comments of the trial court should be removed.
