Mahindra XUV 3XO EV glimpsed in testing, pictures leaked before launch, may compete with Tata Nexon EV

Mahindra XUV 3XO EV: Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) is preparing to launch its new electric SUV, Mahindra XUV 3XO EV soon. Recently, this model was seen during testing, which gives a glimpse of its design and features.

Although it was completely camouflaged, there are indications that its design will be inspired by the existing ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) models. Features like blanked grill and copper color badging can be given as special changes in the EV version. Apart from this, copper colored finish on its roof is also seen in some pictures.

Expected Interior and Features

From the spy shots, it can be inferred that the interior of the XUV 3XO EV will have the same layout as the ICE model. This electric version is likely to have features like 10.25-inch digital driver display, dual-zone automatic AC, and touchscreen infotainment system.

Battery and performance

The XUV 3XO EV is likely to have two battery options – 34.5 kWh and 39.5 kWh – like the ICE version, giving it different driving ranges. In the pictures, the design of its front fender, alloy wheels and charging port is also similar to the conventional model. The connected LED lights at the rear give it a modern appeal.

Expected launch and price

According to media reports, Mahindra XUV 3XO EV may be launched in early 2024. The price of this model is likely to be between Rs 15 to 18 lakh, due to which it can give a tough competition to Tata Nexon EV.
