Mohit Pandey's death case: Brajesh Pathak met the victim's family, said – Government stands with you

Lucknow. Mohit Pandey died in police custody on Saturday in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The functioning of Lucknow Police on this incident is completely under question. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met the victim's family on Monday and gave them financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh. Also assured that children will get free education, government accommodation and benefits of other government schemes.

After this, State Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak reached the house of deceased Mohit Pandey, where he met the victim's family and during this he assured the family of getting justice. During this, Brajesh Pathak said, if negligence of higher officials is found, action will be taken against them. The government stands with the victim's family. The culprits will be arrested and also suspended. The victim's family will get justice.

The family made serious allegations against the police
Mohit's brother Shobharam, who was lodged in the lockup with him, had said while talking to the media that his brother has been tortured in the lockup. He has been beaten. Even after his health deteriorated, he was not taken to the hospital. On the basis of mother's complaint, a case of murder has been registered against several people including Chinhat police station inspector and cousin brother Adesh.

After this incident, a video is going viral on social media. The video going viral is said to be of Chinhat Kotwali. In this video, Mohit Pandey is seen groaning inside the lockup. Besides, other people in the lockup are also seen helping him during this time. Now on the basis of this video the family members say that action should be taken against the guilty policemen soon.
