Expanding upon the iconic world of Mirzapur and following the success of Mirzapur Season 3, Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment have made a big announcement. He has announced a theatrical film based on the Mirzapur series. This will be a production of Excel Entertainment and they are going to bring the Mirzapur franchise on the big screen for the first time. This is a special treat for the fans, as their favorite show is now going to come to the big screen, which will give them a big and exciting experience in the theatre.
Created by Punit Krishna and directed by Gurmeet Singh, 'Mirzapur: The Film' will be released in 2026. It will also feature well-known characters of Mirzapur like Kaalin Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi), Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal) and Munna Tripathi (Divyendu) along with Abhishek Banerjee as the compounder and other actors. Eight weeks after its theatrical release, Prime members will be able to watch the film on Prime Video.
