Prestige Group, a real estate development company , on Monday said in its regulatory filing that it has acquired 17.45 acres of land in Bengaluru’s Whitefield area for Rs 462 crore. The company is aiming to develop residential projects spanning 2.68 million sq ft in Karnataka’s capital.
Irfan Razack, Prestige group chairman, said they are excited to expand their presence in Bengaluru with the prime acquisition of 17.45 acres of land adjacent to their recently launched project- Prestige Raintree Park. He said the acquisition is a commitment to deliver integrated, high quality space that fulfill the urban needs.

Earlier this October, the company reported a 43% decline in bookings, totaling Rs 4,022.6 crore for the second quarter of this fiscal year. The real estate company reported that it registered sales of Rs 4,022.6 crore in the July-September quarter, compared to Rs 7,092 crore recorded during the same period last year.
