Neer Dosa are soft, thin, light made from a finely ground batter of rice, water and salt. You can eat it in morning breakfast or evening snack. This dosa goes well with red, green or white coconut chutney. Come, let us know how to make Neer Dosa.
To make Neer Dosa you will need
200 grams gold masoori rice
salt as required
Ghee as required
piece of coconut
Water
How to make Neer Dosa
First of all make Neer Dosa batter. For this, wash the rice grains a few times and then soak them in enough water for 4 to 5 hours or overnight. Later, filter the soaked rice and put it in a blender along with coconut. Add water to grind the rice. Grind it and make a smooth and fine solution, then take out the solution in another bowl or pan. The batter for Neer Dosa should be of thin, runny consistency. Then add salt as per requirement and mix well.
Now heat an iron pan or non-stick pan on medium to high flame. Apply half a spoon of ghee on the dosa pan. Now spread the oil all around along with half the onion. Take the batter in a ladle and then pour the batter from outside to inside like for Rava Dosa. Cover it with a lid and cook the dosa until the batter becomes hard. Flip after one side is cooked. After cooking from both the sides, take out the dosa and keep it in a plate. Make Neer Dosa like this. Serve it with chutney.
