Gowardhan Puja date

This time Pratipada Tithi is starting from 06:16 PM on 01 November 2024, which will continue till 08:21 PM the next day on 2 November, hence on the basis of Udayatithi, Govardhan Puja will be performed on 02 November 2024.

The auspicious time for Govardhan Puja on 2 November 2024 is from 6 am to 8 am. After this, worship can also be done in the afternoon between 03:23 minutes to 05:35 minutes.

Gowardhan Puja Method
  • On the day of Govardhan Puja, make an idol of Govardhan Mountain and Lord Shri Krishna at home with cow dung.
  • After this decorate it with flowers. Offer fruits, water, lamp, incense and naivedya to Lord Krishna made from cow dung.
  • Now offer curry and Annakoot rice to God.
  • After the puja, circumambulate Govardhan Mountain seven times and during this, chant mantras with water in your hand.
  • Finally, complete the puja by worshiping Govardhan Maharaj and distribute Prasad to everyone.
