There are a total of 6 auspicious times for worshiping Lakshmi on this day, and many special Rajyoga are also being formed on this day. Amavasya will start on the evening of 31st October, which will last till the evening of 1st November the next day. In such a situation, Diwali will be celebrated on 31st October only at most places.

Importance of special Rajyoga and Lakshmi worship
According to experts, 4 Rajyoga are being formed especially for Lakshmi worship on this Diwali – Shasha Yoga, Kuldeepak Yoga, Shankha Yoga and Lakshmi Yoga. The formation of these auspicious yogas is considered to increase prosperity, wealth and happiness. 6 auspicious times to worship Lakshmi
According to pundits, there will be 6 Muhurats of Lakshmi Puja from the evening till night of 31st October, in which devotees can worship Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Ganesha and Kuber ritually. It is said that Lakshmi worship done during these auspicious times brings happiness, peace and prosperity in the family.
These auspicious times are as follows.
1. First Muhurta – 6:30 to 7:30 pm
2. Second Muhurta – 7:30 to 8:30 pm
3. Third Muhurta – 8:30 to 9:30 pm
4. Fourth Muhurta – 9:30 to 10:30 pm
5. Fifth Muhurta – 10:30 to 11:30 pm
6. Sixth Muhurta – 11:30 to 12:30 at night
Lakshmi puja material
The material for Lakshmi puja includes some special things which are dear to Goddess Lakshmi.
– Clean white clothes and red cloth
– Statues of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha
– Lotus flower, rose and mogra flowers
– Incense, lamp, incense sticks
– Rice, kumkum, turmeric and durva
– Sweets, fruits, panchmeva, kheel-batashe and dry fruits

Vault and Kuber worship method
Worship of Kuber and Tijori also has special significance on the day of Diwali. On this day in the evening, their idols and vaults are worshiped to invoke Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Kuber. The method of worship is as follows.
1. First of all, clean the place of worship and spread red clothes.
2. Place the safe on this cloth and make a pile of rice on it.
3. Place Lakshmi and Kuber Yantra on rice.
4. Worship the safe with sandalwood, kumkum, flowers, incense and lighting a lamp.
5. After this, keep some coins, rice and one rupee note in the safe.
6. In the end, perform the aarti of Lakshmi-Ganesh and pray that wealth and prosperity reside in your house.
