Make laddus with custard apple
Here today we are telling you about the method of making laddus from custard apple i.e. Sitaphal which tastes even tastier than gram flour and boondi laddus.
Know the recipe for making Sitaphal laddus
- To make laddus, it is important to first extract the pulp of custard apple. For this, remove the seeds from the fruit and take out its pulp and mix it well, so that no lumps remain in it.
- Now heat a heavy bottomed pan and add 1 tablespoon ghee in it. Add grated coconut in ghee and fry on low flame until the coconut starts turning golden brown. Keep in mind that while roasting the coconut, the flame should not be high otherwise the coconut may burn quickly.
- Now add the custard apple pulp to the pan and cook it along with the coconut for about 5-7 minutes. This pulp will start thickening along with the coconut.
- Now add condensed milk to this mixture to give it taste and sweetness. Cook the condensed milk also until you get the right and thick consistency.
- Add chopped dry fruits and a pinch of cardamom powder to this mixture and mix well. Cook it for 2 more minutes and then turn off the flame.
- Let the mixture cool slightly. Apply some ghee on your palms and take small portions of the mixture and make laddus.
- Place coconut powder in a plate and roll all the laddus in this plate and keep them aside.
- Decorate the laddus in a plate and offer it to Goddess Lakshmi after the evening puja.
