VVS Laxman: Not called 'very, very special'
Laxman has taken charge of the coaching of Team India
VVS may have Laxman in his name, but his work is no less than that of trouble-shooter Hanuman. Whenever Gambhir's former coach Rahul Dravid took a break, VVS Laxman used to play the role of Hanuman. He was also appointed the coach of Team India for the 5-match T20 series against Australia immediately after the ODI World Cup 2023. Before this he was the head coach in the T20 series against Ireland. Apart from this, after the T20 World Cup last year, he has also played the role of head coach in the ODI and T20 series against New Zealand. He is currently the director of the National Cricket Academy (NCA). Not only this, he is also the head coach of the Under-19 men's team.
T-20 team: Suryakumar Yadav (captain), Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson (wicketkeeper), Rinku Singh, Tilak Verma, Jitesh Sharma (wicketkeeper), Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Ramandeep Singh, Varun Chakraborty, Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh, Vijay Kumar Vishak, Avesh Khan, Yash Dayal.
