This time on Narak Chaturdashi, the time to light the lamp at the time of Yama is between 05:30 to 07:02 pm. Donating lamps at this time will be auspicious.
Leading astrologers have cleared the confusion regarding whether Diwali should be celebrated on 31st October or 1st November. According to astrologers, it would be best to celebrate Diwali on 31st October. The auspicious time of Lakshmi and Ganesh puja will start one and a half hour after sunset on 31st. To clear the confusion regarding the auspicious time of Diwali, an online meeting of prominent astrologers from various states and Nepal was held on Tuesday in the presence of Acharyas of Central Sanskrit University.
