New Delhi : The employment scenario in office seems to be changing unevenly. The situation is such that every tenth employee appointed at the global level this year is working in a position of which there was no trace in the year 2000. In this new era, these jobs that have arisen according to the times also include positions like Sustainability Manager, AI Engineer and Social Media Manager.
This information has come to light from a study conducted by professional networking platform LinkedIn on changes in work nature. According to this, now roles like Sustainability Manager, AI Engineer, Data Scientist, Social Media Manager and Customer Success Manager have become very common in office space.

LinkedIn has found in this study that 82 percent of India's business tycoons agree that the pace of change in work is accelerating. The reason for this is that the demand for new roles, skills and technology is increasing.

Ruchi Anand, India head of LinkedIn Talent Solutions, has said that companies are pushing for faster adoption of AI in 2025. They are also making significant investments in upskilling and reskilling their employees. AI adoption isn't just about speed, it's also about empowering teams, driving innovation, and creating a flexible workforce ready to succeed.
AI adoption potential
According to the report, 69 percent of HR professionals in India feel that expectations from them at work are higher than ever before. And 60 percent of professionals say that experience alone is no longer enough to remain competitive and career advancement largely depends on the ability to adopt AI.
