Ingredients for making Boondi Laddu

  • 2 bowls of gram flour
  • 3 bowls sugar
  • 1 bowl semolina
  • Cardamom (to taste)
  • Ghee and oil (for frying)

Know how to make boondi laddus

  • To make boondi laddus, first make a thin paste by mixing water or milk in gram flour.
  • After this, put ghee in a pan or pan and heat it. Then pour the prepared mixture in the strainer.
  • Then fry it on low flame until golden. Be careful not to brown too much.
  • Now take it out from the pan and keep it on paper to absorb the ghee.
  • Then on the other side, make syrup by mixing sugar and water.
  • Also add saffron and orange drops to the syrup.
  • So that the syrup gets colored well.
  • After this, add the prepared syrup boondi, cardamom and dry fruits and mix all the ingredients well.
  • Then after 10 minutes, pour some hot water over it and cover it and keep it aside for about 1 ½ hours.
  • Now gently prepare small laddus using the prepared mixture using ghee continuously.
  • Now just offer the prepared Boondi laddu to God on Diwali and eat it yourself and also feed it to the guests coming to your house.
