Latest News :- The party leadership yesterday released the third list of BJP candidates contesting the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Elections for the Maharashtra Assembly will be held in a single phase on November 20. There are a total of 288 assembly constituencies in Maharashtra. Filing of nominations for these constituencies started from 22nd. 29th is the last date for filing the petition. Nominations will be considered on October 30. November 4 is the last date for withdrawal of nominations. Voting will take place on 20th November. The number of voters in Maharashtra is 9.63 crore.
In such a situation, there will be a contest in the elections between Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde), Nationalist Congress (Ajit Pawar) and BJP led Mahayudi alliance. At the same time, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray), Nationalist Congress (Sharath Pawar) and Congress are contesting the elections in the name of Mahavikas Akathi alliance. In such a situation, the BJP leadership, which has already released the list of candidates in two phases, released the third list of candidates yesterday.
There are names of total 25 candidates including 4 women. BJP has so far announced the names of 146 candidates. BJP had already released the list of 99 candidates for the first phase and 22 candidates for the second phase. According to this, senior BJP leader Avinash Anandrao Brahmankar is contesting from Sakoli seat. Harish Marotiyappa will contest from Murjitapur, Sai Prakash Tahage from Karanja, Rajesh Shriram from Wankhede Diosa and Umesh Yawalkar from Morshi.
