We all deal with mental health challenges in one or the other way. A common aspect that we talk about almost on everyday basis amid this hustle culture is ‘anxiety’. Mental health requires more candid conversation around it for people to feel it is okay to be that way and be more open and comfortable around it. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar India, the ‘Bad Newz’ shared his approach towards it. He said, “The best thing to do for anxiety is to acknowledge it. The enemy is indulging in it. A senior actor once told me to make anxiety your friend. It’s always going to be there; you just need to master it. Acknowledging it is a great first step.”

Kaushal further explained how he tries to keep himself creatively challenged to manage mental fatigue. In the same flow, he discussed about being intrigued by filmmaking. “It’s fascinating to see different approaches in filmmaking. I’m not sure if I’d take that step myself just yet, but I’m definitely intrigued.” The Indian film industry has evolved and blossomed, he agrees. “We’re in an exciting phase. New voices are gaining power, and authenticity resonates with audiences. People are becoming more open to diverse narratives, which is thrilling to witness.”

On the work front, Vicky was last seen in Anand Tiwari’s ‘Bad Newz’. The romantic comedy also featured Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk, Neha Dhupia among others. He will next be seen in ‘Chhava’, which will trace the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj alongside Rashmika Mandanna.
