Friendly clash or electoral challenge in MVA? Sharad Pawar made it clear
As Maharashtra Assembly elections 2024 approach, there is speculation of disagreement and friendly fight on some seats in Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). While on one hand there are differences on seat distribution among the alliance parties, on the other hand, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar, considering the situation, has said that a solution will be found soon.
disagreement on seats
While talking to the media on Thursday, Sharad Pawar said that there are some 10-12 seats where MVA parties have filed more than one nomination. He said, “I don't have much information about it because I am not part of all these conversations. Our other leaders are considering it, but in the next two-three days we will sit together to find a solution to it.” ” This indicates that efforts are on to maintain unity in the alliance.
hope for support
Sharad Pawar also mentioned that his party and other members of the alliance will go among the people with their manifesto and ideology. “We are confident that the people of Maharashtra will give us full support,” he said. According to Pawar, the election campaign will start from November 6, in which Rahul Gandhi and Uddhav Thackeray will also participate.
Election strategy and challenges
Elections in Maharashtra will be held in a single phase on November 20 and counting of votes will take place on November 23. This time the elections will prove to be important not only for the MVA but also for the politics of the state. Pawar's party will have to ensure that they remain united, so that they can stand strongly against the BJP.

CPI criticism
Meanwhile, Communist Party of India (CPI) general secretary D Raja hit out at the Congress, saying it was not taking other parties into confidence in the matter of seat sharing. He said, “Instead of questioning BJP, Congress should question itself. How is it making its election strategy?” This statement further highlights the ongoing discussions and differences within the alliance.
