IPL 2025 Retention: Hyderabad gave the asking price to Heinrich Klaasen, Kavya Maran spent money on these players too

Sports Desk: All the teams have submitted their retention list for IPL 2025 to BCCI by October 31. Whereas Sunrisers Hyderabad has announced its top five players. It will already spend Rs 75 crore by including five players and will enter the auction with the remaining Rs 45 crore.

Sunrisers Hyderabad has announced to pay the highest amount to Heinrich Klaasen. Klaasen has been retained with the team by paying Rs 23 crores. Whereas captain Pat Cummins has been retained by paying Rs 18 crores. Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head have been retained by paying them Rs 14 crores. An agreement has been reached with Nitish Reddy as the fifth player. The team will retain him by giving him Rs 6 crores. Hyderabad team was the runner-up last year, hence the team has retained the key players.

Sunrisers Hyderabad retained Heinrich Klaasen for Rs 23 crore, Pat Cummins for Rs 18 crore, Abhishek Sharma for Rs 14 crore, Nitish Reddy for Rs 6 crore and Travis Head for Rs 14 crore.

IPL has fixed the minimum amount to retain players: Rs 18 crore for the first player, Rs 14 crore for the second, Rs 11 crore for the third, Rs 18 crore for the fourth and Rs 14 crore for the fifth. But teams are free to offer more or less than these amounts.
