IPL 2025 Retention Full Details: Franchises announced their retention list, the list came out shocking

IPL 2025 Retention: Before IPL 2025, almost the franchises have released their retention list. RCB has not retained Mohammed Siraj, while Pant and Ishan have also not been given a place by Delhi and Mumbai. Mumbai has retained Hardik Pandya along with Rohit Sharma. Whereas Rajasthan has kept Yashasvi Jaiswal as a part of its team apart from Sanju Samson. Apart from Virat Kohli, RCB has kept Yash Dayal in its retained list.

Mumbai Indians' retention list

Jasprit Bumrah -18 crores
Suryakumar Yadav -16.35 crores
Hardik Pandya -16.35 crores
Rohit Sharma -16.35 crores
Tilak Verma -8 crores

Mumbai Indians have not retained Ishan Kishan. He was playing the role of wicketkeeper batsman for Mumbai for the last few years.

CSK's retention list

Ruturaj Gaikwad – 18 crores
Mathisha Pathirana – 13 crores
Shivam Dubey- 12 crores
Ravindra Jadeja- 18 crores
MS Dhoni- 4 crores

Apart from Ajinkya Rahane, CSK did not retain Rachin Ravindra, Sameer Rizvi and Devon Conway.

KKR's retention list

Rinku Singh- 13 crores
Varun Chakraborty- 12 crores
Sunil Narine- 12 crores
Andre Russell- 12 crores
Harshit Rana- 4 crores
Ramandeep Singh- 4 crores

KKR did not retain its captain Shreyas Iyer. He had made KKR win the title last time under his captaincy.

GT's retention list

Rashid Khan- 18 crores
Shubman Gill- 16.5 crores
Sai Sudarshan- 8.5 crores
Rahul Tewatia- 4 crores
Shahrukh Khan- 4 crores

GT did not retain its star fast bowler Mohammed Shami. Shami could not play last season due to injury.

Rajasthan Royals retention list

Sanju Samson- 18 crores
Yashasvi Jaiswal – 18 crores
Riyan Parag – 14 crores
Dhruv Jurel – 14 crores
Shimron Hetmyer- 11 crores
Sandeep Sharma- 4 crores

Rajasthan Royals have not given place to their fast bowler Avesh Khan in the squad.

punjab kings retention list

Shashank Singh- 5.5 crores
Prabhsimran Singh- 4 crores

Apart from Kagiso Rabada, Punjab has not retained Sam Curran, Jitesh Sharma, Arshdeep Singh.

srh retention list

Pat Cummins – 18 crores
Abhishek Sharma- 14 crores
Nitish Reddy- 6 crores
Heinrich Klaasen – 23 crores
Travis Head- 14 crores

SRH has kept Umram Malik, Abdul Samad out of the retention list.

LSG retention list

Nicholas Pooran – 21 crores
Ravi Bishnoi- 11 crores
Mayank Yadav- 11 crores
Mohsin Khan- 4 crores
Ayush Badoni- 4 crores

LSG has not retained its captain KL Rahul. He was holding the captaincy from the year 2022. He has commanded this team for 3 years.

Delhi Capitals retention list

Akshar Patel – 16.5 crores
Kuldeep Yadav – 13.25 crores
Tristan Stubbs- 10 crores
Abhishek Porel- 4 crores

Delhi Capitals did not retain Rishabh Pant. He will be seen in the mega auction. Pant was a part of this team since 2016.

rcb retention list

Virat Kohli – 21 crores
Rajat Patidar – 11 crores
Yash Dayal – 5 crores

Apart from its captain Faf du Plessis, RCB did not retain star bowlers Mohammad Siraj and Glenn Maxwell. Apart from them, players like Will Jacques, Cameron Green were also not part of the squad.

It has been claimed in media reports that Virat Kohli can take over the captaincy of RCB this time. He left the captaincy of RCB in IPL 2022, when Faf du Plessis was made the new captain of RCB. He held the captaincy of RCB for 3 years. But could not end the team's 17-year drought. Now once again expectations are being placed on Virat.
