Argentina's Foreign Minister Diana Mondino has been removed from her post, Manuel Adorni, a spokesman for Argentine President Javier Mili, said in a post on the social media platform X. Argentina's Ambassador to the US, Gerardo Worthin, has been appointed in his place.

Removed on support of UN resolution

Adorni did not elaborate on the reasons for Mondino's removal, but the announcement came hours after Mondino on Wednesday endorsed a UN resolution lifting sanctions on Cuba. The president's office later confirmed in a release that Mondino was removed because of his support for the UN resolution.
