New Delhi. A unique example of brotherhood was seen in Varanasi on the holy festival of Diwali. Here Muslim women along with Hindu women performed the Aarti of Lord Shri Ram. A large number of Muslim women gathered at Subhash Bhawan located in Lamhi of the city and performed the aarti of Shri Ram and Mata Sita. Every year on Diwali, Rangoli is made by the Muslim Women Foundation and Aarti is performed by decorating the idols of Lord Shri Ram and Mata Sita with flowers. During this time women recite aarti written in Urdu.
