Taiwanese actress Chun-Chun Hsu is being sued by a married man for “emotional fraud,” seeking the return of an NT$2.66 million (US$83,000) Mercedes-Benz and 7 million yuan (US$980,000) in relationship expenses.

The married man, who described himself as Hsu’s former boyfriend, claimed that shortly after they started dating, Hsu frequently mentioned her car troubles and expressed a wish for a Mercedes-Benz, which she said would make meeting in Taipei more convenient.

He eventually paid for the luxury car in full. However, he alleges that soon afterward, Hsu grew distant and unresponsive, leading him to seek the return of the vehicle, as reported by Znewsciting Mirror Media.

Hsu offered to partially refund the money, but when he declined, she allegedly called him “classless.” The two then separated, with the man stating he would spend all his resources to retrieve the car and recover an additional 7 million yuan for expenses he covered during their three-year relationship, including monthly bills, utilities, and car maintenance.

In response, Hsu denied any involvement with a married man or exploiting anyone financially. She has since engaged a lawyer and informed the police, citing the Stalking and Harassment Prevention Act.

Chun-Chun Hsu, 39, has been active in the Taiwanese entertainment industry for 13 years, recognized for her role as “Monica” in Family Reunion and appearances in popular shows like “Everything Happens at Home” and “Sweet Life”.
