Now 'Bhakshak' actress Bhumi Pednekar wants to do such films
Mumbai, October 31 (IANS). Actress Bhumi Pednekar, who gave a successful film like 'Toilet Ek Prem Katha' to the entertainment world, spoke with IANS. During this, the actress talked about her journey in Hindi cinema.
Bhumi Pednekar told during a conversation with IANS that she is actually living her dreams. Talking about her journey in Hindi cinema, the actress said, 'The last 10 years have been no less than a dream, I am truly living my dream.' 'I wanted this since childhood and every morning I wake up and thank God for making me a part of this wonderful industry.
The actress was recently seen walking the runway at Lakme Fashion Week. Along with this, Bhumi is also seen in 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha', 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha', 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan', 'Son Chidiya', 'Saand Ki Aankh', 'Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare', 'Badhaai Do', Today, he is at a different position after doing brilliant work in films like 'Bheed' and 'Afvaah'.
Describing herself as lucky, Bhumi said, 'I have been fortunate to have found some great filmmakers who have always supported me, got some great characters and I really hope that I keep getting such characters in the future also.
Pednekar further said, 'It is my aim to leave an impact through cinema and I really hope that it never ends.'
Speaking to IANS, Bhumi told that she wants to do a historical film based on the freedom struggle.
He said that he never tried his hand in action and historical films. Bhumi said, 'I would like to do an action film or a film based on the freedom struggle.'
Talking about acting, Bhumi was last seen in the crime thriller 'Bhakshak', which was based on the Muzaffarpur Shelter Case. Along with Bhumi Pednekar, Sanjay Mishra, Aditya Srivastava and Sai Tamhankar were also in important roles in this film.
