New Delhi: Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor recently addressed his relationship status with Malaika Arora. The 39-year-old star was seen attending a Diwali bash hosted by politician Raj Thackeray at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park on Monday (October 28, 2024). In a widely-shared video from the event, the 2 States actor was seen confirming to the crowd that he is single.
The short clip quickly went viral on social media, receiving fans’ attention. A day later, the 51-year-old actress shared a cryptic Instagram post, leaving her followers concerned. “Touching a heart for a second can touch a soul for a lifetime,” it read.
While many have taken her post in a positive light, some netizens are concerned about how she is handling the breakup. However, it cannot be confirmed if Malaika’s message on the popular photo-sharing platform hinted at her split with Arjun.
Rumours of the duo’s breakup have circulated online for some time, but neither Arjun nor Malaika had spoken about it publicly. Arjun had shown strong support for Malaika in September 2024 when her father passed away suddenly after a tragic fall from his apartment building.

For the uninitiated, Arjun and Malaika began dating in 2018 following her divorce from actor-producer Arbaaz Khan in 2017. The couple frequently attended events together and their photos often received an outpouring of love from fans on social media.
