1-Munshi Premchand-

First of all, one of the greatest writers is Munshi Premchand who is known among the great writers not only of Hindi but also of Urdu. He was born on 31 July 1880 in a village named Lamhi, about four miles away from Varanasi, where Premchand wrote more than 300 stories, 3 plays, 15 novels, 10 translations and 7 children's books. Premchand is still known for his novels and stories.

2- Agyeya

One of the great writers of India is Sachchidanand Hiranand Vatsyayan 'Agyeya', who was born on 7 March 1911 in Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh. He wrote stories like Vipathaga, Parampara, Kothri Ki Baat, Refugee, Jaidol etc. Many of these stories are still popular today. Apart from being a great writer, people in the world see and know him as a poet, editor, essayist and novelist. It is said that, when he sent his 'seven and a half stories' to writer Munshi Premchand for publication. When these stories reached Premchand, he selected two stories for publication. His name was not revealed in it.

3- Phanishwar Nath 'Renu'

Another name among the great writers is the name of this writer who was born on 4 March 1921 in a village called Aurahi Hingna in Purnia, Bihar. Here, apart from being a great Hindi litterateur, he was also a great writer. Talking about his stories, he wrote stories like Thumri, Ek Adim Ratri Ki Mehek, Agnikhor, Meri Priya Kahaniyaan, Achhe Aadmi. Apart from stories, he has written other non-fiction genres like essays, memoirs etc.

4-Jaishankar Prasad

The name of Jaishankar Prasad is also counted among the great writers of India. He was born in Kashi on 30 January 1890. Whose childhood was spent with great suffering. Jaishankar Prasad has written plays, story collections, novels, poetry and essay collections. Talking about some of his stories, Chhaya, Pratidhwani, Indrajal are collections of successful stories. You will see Khadi dialect in their structures.
