Lucknow: The city of Awadh was illuminated a day before Diwali. As part of the 8th Deepotsav in Ram Nagari, 28 lakh lamps were lit at 55 ghats of Saryu River. With this a new world record was created. Let us tell you that records are made every year in the Deepotsav of Ayodhya. Last year 22 lakh lamps were lit. CM Yogi inaugurated the festival of lights by lighting the first lamp in Ram temple.

During this period 1600 Archakas performed Saryu Aarti. It is noteworthy that Diwali is for the first time after the construction of Ram Lala temple in Ram Nagari. Due to which this time Diwali is very special for the people of Ayodhya and all the followers of Hindu religion. For which grand preparations have been made.

Before this, Lord Shri Ram along with Sita and Lakshman arrived in Pushpak Viman. Yogi welcomed him. During this time, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath pulled the chariot on which Lord Ram came riding. Lord Ram was brought to Ramkatha Park. Here Yogi performed the aarti of Ram and did Raj Tilak. Artists were seen dancing everywhere to welcome Lord Ram.

On the first day of Deepotsav i.e. Dhanteras, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat also arrived along with the state chief Yogi Adityanath. This time, the Deepotsav of Ayodhya is also special because it is the first Diwali after the installation of Lord Ram in the Ram temple. Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, who reached Ramnagari Ayodhya for the Deepotsav program, said that the world's attitude towards India has changed.
