Following Virat’s advice, Washington Sundar bowled a magical ball, not the batsman’s fault but still out. – Read
Washington Sundar has once again dominated. After performing well with the ball in the Pune Test, this player was now seen making his mark in the Mumbai Test. Sundar bowled in such a way in the first session of the first day on the Wankhede pitch that the world kept watching. Sundar bowled Tom Latham and Rachin Ravindra in the first innings and the interesting thing is that there was no mistake of both the batsmen and yet they got bowled. Another interesting thing here is that Virat Kohli had advised Sundar to bowl this type of ball.
Washington’s ‘beautiful’ performance
Washington Sundar took the first wicket of New Zealand captain Tom Latham in the Mumbai Test. Tom Latham was batting strongly, it was difficult to penetrate his defence, but after this, in the 16th over, Virat Kohli advised Sundar to bowl on a particular line and length. Sundar obeyed him and a miracle happened on the very next ball. While bowling from round the wicket, Sundar bowled Latham on the coming out ball. Amazing happened when Sundar bowled Rachin Ravindra in the same manner in the 20th over.

Sundar’s height is amazing
The special thing about Washington Sundar is that he has the ability to bowl continuously at the same length. He is a very economical bowler in ODI and T20 cricket and it becomes impossible to play him on spin friendly wickets. Sundar had taken 11 wickets in the Pune Test. In the first innings, he dealt with 7 New Zealand batsmen and in the second innings, this player took 4 wickets. Because of this ability of Sundar, Team India suddenly gave him a place in the team in the Test series.
