Surendran said that anything shouted during elections does not matter, there is no need to prove it and BJP has no connection with the pipe fixing issue. Surendran clarified that he is an accused in 346 cases and he has not challenged the law in any case and he is following the law in every case and speaking the truth in the court. Surendran said that if central agencies want to investigate the case, they need evidence. Surendran also said that he will not answer to liars like Rahul Mankoothil and he knows the people behind this very well. Palakkad UDF candidate Rahul said in Mangakoot that ED and Kerala Police are in a race to save Surendran in the Kodakara pipeline case.
