Pandya’s views on MI’ retentions before IPL 2025 mega auctions
After Mumbai Indians announced the list of their retained players for the 2025 IPL, skipper Hardik Pandya shared some of his special views for his fans. In a video specially posted by the franchise on their social media, Hardik thanked the fans of Mumbai Indians for all their support, along with the lessons he learnt over the years.
“Five fingers but one fist” is how Pandya described the five players who were kept by the franchise. The five players are Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, Rohit Sharma and Tilak Verma.
“5 people who we all have cherished a lot of good memories, together. We are as one. We are five fingers but one fist, that’s how I look at it. We are going to come all guns blazing, brotherhood, friendship and at the same point of time we are going to back each other no matter what happens,” Pandya said.
“It has been fantastic. I have been loved back. Everything what I have achieved in my life has been part of Mumbai Indians. Every year is a special year and this is going to be an even more special one. We remember as a group in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020. I think all of our fans know what happened in those years, and we are going to come back in 2025 even stronger than that,” he further added.
