Spanish midfielder Rodri wins Ballon d'Or award for best football player

Latest News :- Spain's mid-fielder Rodri has won this year's Ballon d'Or Award. He performed well for his national team and club team. His performances helped Manchester City win the Premier League title in the 2023–24 season and Spain win the Euro Cup. He received the Ballon d'Or at an awards ceremony held in Paris, France.

The 28-year-old became the first Manchester City player to receive the prestigious award. Rodri became the third player to win this award in the last 16 years after Messi and Ronaldo. Luka Modric won this award last year in 2018. Rodri has since become known as an award-winning mid-fielder. Spain's Adana Bonmati won the 'Ballon d'Or 2024' in the women's category. Spain's Yamal won the Best Young Player award.
