In fact, Lieutenant Governor of Delhi VK Saxena had written a letter to Chief Minister Atishi regarding the declaration of November 7 as a public holiday in Delhi on the occasion of Chhath Puja. In the letter, he had requested to declare November 7 as a holiday for Chhath Puja.
