LPG Gas Cylinder Price  : Indian oil marketing companies have announced to increase the price of 19 kg LPG cylinder. The price of commercial gas cylinder has increased to Rs 61-62 in the metro city. However, there has been no change in the prices of 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinder. But the price of commercial gas cylinder has reached close to Rs 2000 in many cities.

Rate reached Rs 1800

Indian Oil Corporation has decided to increase the price of 19 kg LPG cylinder. Especially in metro cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata, a huge surge is being seen. The price of 19 kg LPG cylinder in Kolkata is just Rs 88.5 less than Rs 2000. At the same time, the 19 kg LPG cylinder which used to cost up to Rs 1750 in Delhi and Mumbai has now crossed the figure of Rs 1800. These new prices have come into effect from 1 November 2014.

In October 2024, the price of 19 kg LPG cylinder was Rs 1740. Now, after the increase of Rs 62, a 19 kg LPG cylinder will be available for Rs 1802 in the capital.

LPG cylinder price in Kolkata

The biggest impact of increase in the price of LPG cylinder will be seen in Kolkata. In Kolkata, till October 2024, a 19 kg LPG cylinder was available for Rs 1,850.5, which has now increased by Rs 61 to Rs 1,911.5.

LPG cylinder price in Mumbai

Even in metropolitan Mumbai, the price of 19 kg LPG cylinder has increased by Rs 62. With this, the price of commercial cylinder in Mumbai has gone up to Rs 1,754.5 instead of Rs 1,692.5.

LPG cylinder price in Chennai

The price of LPG cylinder has increased by Rs 61.5 in Chennai. With this, the price of gas cylinder in Chennai has increased from Rs 1,903 to Rs 1,964.

How much does a domestic cylinder cost?

Talking about 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinder, its price has not been increased since August 2024. Its price in Delhi is Rs 803, in Mumbai Rs 802.50, in Chennai Rs 818.50 and in Kolkata Rs 829.
