The girl's family members say that after the rape, Farooq blackmailed them through obscene videos and extorted Rs 5 lakh. The family was afraid of public shame and hence kept the matter hidden. The victim alleges that Farooq has broken many of her relationships. Now he wants to break the marriage by showing her video to her husband. The victim appealed to the CM and said, 'Yogi ji please help me, otherwise I will commit suicide'.

Blackmail continues even after marriage

It is alleged that Farooq had continued the process of blackmailing the girl even after marrying her. The accused used to demand Rs 5 lakh in cash and gold jewelery from the girl's family. Unable to fulfill the demand, he sent an obscene video of the girl to her husband and some relatives on WhatsApp, due to which the victim's relationship broke.

As soon as the video went viral, the entire family is in shock. The girl and her brother have appealed to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for justice. When this matter started going viral on social media, the local police came into action and took action against the accused and registered a case.

At present, the police, showing seriousness on the complaint lodged in this matter on Thursday, have taken the accused youth into custody and have started the investigation. Here, Dhirendra Singh of Kadhadham Kotwali area said that the accused youth is being interrogated on the complaint given regarding the incident. Legal action will be taken after investigation. In case the case is found true, the accused youth will be sent behind the bars.
