Mahindra & Mahindra had a great start this month, sales increased by more than 20 percent.

New Delhi : Motor manufacturing company Mahindra & Mahindra has recorded the best monthly sales in the last month. The company has sold a total of 96,648 units this month, which is several percent more than the same period last year. Last month there has been an increase of 20 percent in the sales of this company. At the same time last year, this figure was 80,679 units.

Mahindra & Mahindra i.e. M&M has said in the statement that in the utility vehicle segment it sold 54,504 units in the domestic market, which is 25 percent more than 43,708 units in the same period a year ago. The company has said that the total wholesale sales of passenger vehicles including exports were 55,571 units. Last month, local sales of commercial vehicles were 28,812 units.

Highest monthly local sales

He said that the month had started well and Thar Rocks had received 1.7 lakh bookings in the first 60 minutes. In view of the festivals, the positive momentum has continued in the SUV segment. M&M's farm equipment segment or FES has recorded the highest ever monthly local sales of 64,326 tractors last month, compared to 49,336 units in October 2023.

MSP announcement

Total tractor sales including exports stood at 65,453 units last month, compared to 50,460 units in the same period of 2023. M&M President FES Hemant Sikka said that the tractor industry has seen very strong growth due to the coming together of several positive factors. These include good monsoon, good kharif crop, high level of reservoirs which will help in Rabi crops and the announcement of higher minimum support price (MSP) on major Rabi crops by the government. He said that the company exported 1,127 units last month.
