Bank New Rules : RBI has issued a very big rule for some banks of India, due to which the customers of some banks are going to get a big shock, if any bank account holder has a credit card, ATM card, then this is very important news for them. It may be because RBI has given this blow to the account holders of SBI and ICICI Bank. Many other facilities were also available through the credit cards of some banks issued by RBI, which include oil surcharge, airport lounge, discounts on food items, late payment and other recharges and some offers on online shopping and huge discounts among others. Benefits were also available as per coupons and rewards but now some important rules have been imposed on credit cards, which are as follows.

New rule applicable on credit card

The benefit of surcharge exemption will not be available on fuel expenditure more than Rs 1,00,000 per month. Reversal fee has been reduced from Rs 15 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. 1% charge will be paid on utility payments above Rs 50,000 per month. All these new rules will come into effect from November 15. The fee on SBI credit card has been increased to 3.75%.
