Muhurat Trading 2024: Stocks in focus today – Hyundai, Maruti and more

Mumbai: The shares of Escorts Kubota, Hyundai Motor India, Maruti Suzuki India, Tata Motors, and Ola Electric Mobility Ltd are expected too remain in focus during Muhurat Trading 2024 which is set to take place on November 1, 2024, i.e., Friday.

The special one-hour Muhurat trading 2024 session will be held today from 6 PM to 7 PM. The exchanges have said the time for trade modification will end by 7:10 PM. In India, stock market enthusiasts view Diwali as the beginning of their financial year and consider purchasing stocks during the Muhurat Trading hour as a way to invite prosperity for the coming year.

Escorts Kubota share price

The shares of Escorts Kubota are expected to remain in focus after the company declared its sales figures for the month of October 2024. In its regulatory filing, the farm and construction equipment firm registered a 19.8 per cent increase in tractor sales at 18,110 units in October 2024 as against 15,113 units sold in the same month a year ago. Domestic tractor sales were recorded at 17,839 units as against 14,550 units sold in the year-ago month. It sold 271 units of tractors in the previous month.

Hyundai Motor India share price

Hyundai Motor India informed that it recorded a 2 per cent increase in total sales at 70,078 units in October 2024. The South Korean automobile major said it had sold 68,728 units in the same month in 2023. Domestic sales were appreciated and the figures stood at 55,568 units as compared to 55,128 units in October 2023. The company’s exports increased 6.7 per cent at 14,510 units as compared to 13,600 units in the same month last year.

“We witnessed a strong demand for our SUV portfolio during festive period, leading to our highest-ever monthly SUV sales at 37,902 units, including the highest-ever monthly domestic sales of the Hyundai CRETA at 17,497 units,” HMIL Chief Operating Officer, Tarun Garg said.

Maruti Suzuki India share price

The shares of automaker Maruti Suzuki India are likely to remain in news today after the car maker stated that it recorded the highest ever monthly sales in October at 2,06,434 units. The firm said the surge was 4 per cent year-on-year growth over the same month last year.

In its statement, Maruti sold a total of 1,99,217 units in October 2023. Total domestic passenger vehicle sales were at 1,59,591 units. The car manufacturing company said the sales of Alto and S-Presso declined to 10,687 units from 14,568 units in October 2023.

The figures showed that the sales of cars, including Swift, Celerio, Tour S, WagonR, Dzire, Baleno, and Ignis declined to 65,948 units as compared to 80,662 units in October 2023.

Utility vehicles segment, which comprises models like XL6, Grand Vitara, Brezza, and Ertiga recorded sales of 70,644 units in October 2024 as compared to 59,147 units earlier.

Tata Motors share price

Tata Motors Ltd has reported a fall decline in its domestic and international sales at 82,682 units in October 2024 as compared to 82,954 units in the same month of 2023. In a regulatory filing, the domestic automobile major said its total domestic sales were up at 80,839 units last month against 80,825 units in the year-ago period.

Tata Motors stated that the sales of electric vehicles were slightly down at 48,423 units over 48,637 units a year ago. Similarly, domestic passenger vehicles sales were down at 48,131 while total commercial vehicle sales in October 2024 was recorded at 34,259 units, down from 34,317 units in the same month previous year.

Ola Electric Mobility share price

Ola Electric Mobility Ltd reported a 74 per cent rise in vehicle registrations at 41,605 units in October 2024. In its statement, the company sold over 50,000 units in the previous month. “The festive season has been really strong for us on the back of our expansive portfolio, uptick in consumer demand, and the strengthening of our sales network across India. We have witnessed an increase in EV adoption especially in Tier 2 and 3 markets and we are confident that this positive growth will cascade in the coming months as well,” a spokesperson of Ola Electric Mobility Ltd said.
