Muhurat Trading 2024: Sensex up 335 points, Nifty at 24,300 as Samvat 2081 begins

New Delhi: In a positive start to Samvat 2081, the 30-share BSE Sensex closed in green at 79,724.12, up 335.06 points, or 0.42 per cent, while the NSE Nifty stood at 24,304.35, up 99.00 points, or 0.41 per cent during Muhurat Special Trading Session on Friday, November 1, 2024.

On the 30-share Senses, M&M, Adani Ports, and Tata Motors were the top gainers while HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra, and ICICI Bank were the top drags. In the last Samvat 2080, which ended on Thursday, the BSE Sensex jumped 14,484.38 points, or 22.31 per cent, and the Nifty climbed 4,780 points, or 24.60 per cent.

Muhurat trading session is a real session in which trading in stocks is considered auspicious. Buying and selling stocks and other instruments during muhurat trading hour is considered to invite prosperity all year round.
