Singam Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 makers clash over copyright
Mumbai: After the clash between the makers of Ajay Devgan's 'Singham Again' and Kartik Aryan's 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' over the earlier release date and distribution of the show in theatres, now they have also clashed over the copyright issue.
The title song of 'Singham Again' has been released on YouTube. The original Singham theme was used in it. However, the copyright of the theme music of the original Singham film released in 2011 is held by T-Series. Hence, 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' producer T-Series immediately raised a copyright infringement objection against the title song of 'Singham Again'.
After this, the title song of 'Singham Again' disappeared from YouTube for some time. Later, when this song was re-uploaded, the original Singham title theme was edited in it.
According to a discussion, in case of other films, advance booking starts three-four days in advance, but due to the dispute between the producers of these two films regarding the distribution of the shows, advance booking has also started quite late.
Most multiplexes have allotted 60 percent shows to 'Singham Again', while 40 percent shows have been allotted to 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'.
The number of these shows will increase or decrease depending on the box office performance of both the films.
