During this, he broke the record of young left-handed batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal, which was made a match earlier.

Let us tell you that young left-handed batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal had scored his half-century in only 41 balls during the Test match to be played in Pune. Breaking this record, wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant made the record of the fastest half-century in Test matches against New Zealand.

Rishabh Pant's aggressive style continued in the first session on the second day of the match. Making his intentions clear in the first hour of the match, he hit a lot of fours and sixes. During this time, taking notice of spin and fast bowlers, he completed his half century in only 36 balls. During this, Rishabh Pant has also made a record of scoring the fastest fifty in a test match against New Zealand. Rishabh Pant hit 7 fours and 2 sixes during his innings.

In reply to New Zealand's 235 runs, India scored 195 runs for five wickets till lunch on the second day of the third and final Test cricket match here on Saturday. Thus, India is currently 40 runs behind New Zealand. At lunch, Shubman Gill was playing on 70 and Ravindra Jadeja was playing on 10 runs. India lost the wicket of Rishabh Pant in the first session who played an attractive innings of 60 runs. Seeing Rishabh Pant's aggressive style in the first session, it seemed as if he was playing an ODI or T-20 match. Therefore, he not only scored the fastest half-century but also brought the Indian team from back foot to front foot.
