Business Business : Indian automaker Tata Motors suffered another decline in sales last month in October. Despite the holiday month, the company recorded a slight decline in the domestic and international markets. Last month the total sales of this company were 82,682 units. 82,954 units were sold in October last year. The Tata range includes many models from hatchback to SUV. The company also has the largest fleet of electric vehicles.
Tata Motors' domestic sales rose marginally to 80,839 units last month as against 80,825 units in the same period last year. Total passenger vehicle (PV) sales, including electric vehicles, fell slightly to 48,423 in October 2023 from 48,637.
According to this company, sales of domestic passenger vehicles also fell to 48,000 131 units from 48,000 337 units in the same month last year. Tata Motors said total sales of commercial vehicles stood at 34,259 units last month and are expected to reach 34,317 units in October 2023. Sales details for each model have not yet been announced. The company's electric vehicle division also saw a decline.
