Shaina NC files FIR against Arvind Sawant for calling him 'imported goods'

Shaina NC: Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Arvind Sawant had made objectionable remarks on Shinde faction leader Shaina NC. Sawant had called Shaina imported goods. After which the political temperature has become high in the state. At the same time, Shaina NC has lodged an FIR against Arvind Sawant in Nagpada Police Station regarding this. Shaina said that this fight is a fight for the respect of women. Hurting the dignity of women is not a small problem. Election Commission and Women Commission have also taken cognizance.

This is a fight for women's respect – Shaina NC

This is a war for women's respect. When he called me an imported product, the people sitting in front of him were laughing and watching. When someone wants to discuss on the basis of work then you don't discuss it and making personal comments, insulting women, is not a small problem.

'I was called imported goods'

I decided that a complaint would be lodged at Nagpada Police Station and the truth is in front of everyone in that video. This distorted mentality is in that video. On one hand, CM Shinde is running a scheme for women. The Prime Minister is running many schemes for women. Where are all the women leaders today who talk about women?

Arvind Sawant apologized, said- in 55 years…

Meanwhile, amidst all this, Arvind Sawant has apologized for the statement given on Shaina NC. Giving clarification, he said that I have never insulted women in 55 years of politics. I am being targeted by deliberately misrepresenting the statement. I have never insulted women in 55 years and will not do so in future. Still, if anyone has been hurt, I express my regret. I expect that the honor of any woman should not be seen like a party in the country.
