America enraged by India's friendship with Russia; Ban imposed on business of 15 companies

US Bans 15 Indian Companies : America is not able to digest India's friendship with Russia. Due to which it has imposed sanctions on 275 people including 15 Indian companies. America has accused India of allegedly supporting Russia's military-industrial establishments. The Indian government has not yet responded to this action.

According to media reports, the United States (US) has banned 398 companies from more than a dozen countries like Russia, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates, including 15 Indian companies. Most of these companies are suppliers of electronic components, while some companies also supply aircraft parts, machine tools etc. In fact, America does not want to do business with any company which is helping Russian defense sector companies in any way.

The US Treasury Department said on Thursday that sanctions have also been imposed on companies from China, Switzerland, Thailand and Türkiye. The reason for this is that these companies are providing advanced technology and equipment to Russia which Russia is using to run its war system. The US said that in addition to blocking global stealth networks, the action also targets domestic Russian importers and companies that provide key inputs and other materials for Russia's military industrial base.

Earlier on Wednesday, the US had announced sanctions on about 400 institutions and individuals for promoting Russia's war against Ukraine.
