New Delhi. After Shiv Sena UBT MP Arvind Sawant apologized for his statement regarding imported goods, now the reaction of Shiv Sena NC has come to the fore. Shaina NC, candidate of Shiv Sena Shinde faction from Mumbai's Mumbadevi seat, raised questions on Sawant's apology and said that when I was campaigning for Arvind Sawant in the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections while being in BJP, I was my beloved sister and Now I have become imported goods. Shaina also targeted Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut's statement in which he had said that foreign goods will only be called imported, adding that Sawant's statement did not insult anyone.

Shaina said, Arvind Sawant apologized 30 hours after giving the statement and Sanjay Raut said exactly the opposite to him that there is no need to apologize. Shiv Sena (UBT) should clarify what their stand is, to apologize or not to apologize? If Arvind Sawant is apologizing then he should apologize to every woman of Mumbadevi. On being called an outsider by Sanjay Raut, Shaina NC said that Sanjay Raut does not know the facts. We have been living and working here in South Mumbai for three generations. My maternal home is also here. I myself have been in politics for 20 years.
