Rohtak, 4 November (HS). Three people of the same family died in a road accident on 152-D near village Basana under Kalanaur police station late on Sunday night. The deceased include husband, wife and their son. The police handed over the bodies of the three to their families after post-mortem. Police have registered a case against the unknown truck driver in this regard. According to the police, late night, Vijay, a resident of Gudhaan village, was returning to the village from Jind with his wife and son in a car.
When he reached Highway 152 near village Basana, his car collided with a truck parked on the roadside, due to which Vijay, his wife Sarita and son Digvijay died on the spot. Meanwhile, after receiving the information, Maham police reached the spot and took out the bodies of the three from the car and took them to PGI. Meham police station in-charge Satpal Singh said that the bodies were handed over to the relatives after post-mortem and a case has been registered against the truck driver and investigation has been started.
