Latest News :- The Central Government's Atmanirbhar (self-reliant) scheme has started giving the expected results. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has said that due to self-reliance, India's military exports will reach Rs 50 thousand crore by 2030. Speaking at an event organized at IIT Kanpur yesterday, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh appealed to the youth of India to make India Develop advanced technology for military use domestically to create a developed country.
On this occasion he said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to making India a developed country by 2047. The central government is taking forward schemes for this. As a developed country, India needs to be self-reliant in all sectors. The Central Government's efforts for self-reliance in military preparation have started bearing fruit. India is trying to manufacture its logistics needs domestically.
Apart from this, exports to foreign countries are also increasing. In the financial year 2013-14, military exports were only Rs 600 crore. This will increase to Rs 21,000 crore in the financial year 2023-24. By 2030 it will increase to Rs 50,000 crore. One obstacle to achieving self-reliance in the military is advanced technology. We import the most advanced technologies for the army from abroad. Therefore Indian youth should be internally involved in the development of advanced technologies for the military.
