Chinese astronauts returned to Earth after spending 6 months in space, health information received
Obnews Digital Desk. Chinese astronauts have returned safely to Earth after spending six months in the space station. Three Chinese astronauts, who spent six months working on developing a low-orbiting space station in Beijing on Nov. 4, returned safely to Earth on Monday night. The Chinese agency associated with manned space missions gave this information.
time spent in space
The capsule of the spacecraft 'Shenzhou-18' carrying astronauts Ye Guangfu, Li Cong and Li Guangsu landed at the Dongfeng site in northern China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region at 1:24 pm (Beijing Time). The space agency said that after 192 days in orbit, the health of all three astronauts is fine and the 'Shenzhou-18' manned mission was successful. Shenzhou-18 mission commander Guangfu has become the first Chinese astronaut with cumulative spaceflight time of more than a year. He has set a new record for the longest stay in orbit by a Chinese astronaut.

He served as an astronaut in the 'Shenzhou-13' mission from October 2021 to April 2022. “Chinese astronauts have flown to space in successive missions,” Guangfu said. I believe that the record for duration in class will be broken in the near future.” Meanwhile, other astronaut Li Guangsu said that he grew two types of plants, namely cherry tomatoes and lettuce, and harvested some lettuce for food.
Information received from government
“Being able to eat fresh vegetables in space is really a blessing,” state news agency Xinhua quoted Li as saying. These green plants bring the glow of greenery and good cheer even in our busy work.” China had launched the 'Shenzhou-18' manned spacecraft in April this year. According to Xinhua, the astronauts conducted dozens of science-related experiments during their stay in space. In place of the three astronauts who returned to Earth, three other passengers reached the space station on October 30, including a woman. China rotates astronauts to the station every six months. China built its own space station after it was reportedly kicked out of the International Space Station over concerns that its space program was run by its military.
