Why Rahul Gandhi refrained from criticising PM Modi in Wayanad- The Week
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who is on a campaign tour in Kerala’s Wayanad along with his sister and party candidate Priyanka Gandhi, on Sunday refrained from criticising Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other BJP leaders in his speech.
The reason? Rahul said it’s ‘boring’.
“Anyway, she (Priyanka Gandhi) has already mentioned Mr. Modi and we all bored of him… then why mention him twice,” the former Congress president said at the meeting.

Rahul spoke more about his family, his sister and their nostalgic memories of childhood.
“In this meeting, I have a choice in front of me to either give a political message or a speech I would give to my family members. I would rather speak to you like I speak to my family. I would like to give a speech more about the candidate herself,” he said.
Rahul, who is the Leader of opposition in Lok Sabha, spoke about how he and his sister competed with each other to take best photographs using a camera gifted to them by their father (late former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi).
“I still don’t remember who won the competition.. ok.. she (Priyanka ) is now saying that I won,” he said.

Shedding lights on the character of Priyanka, Rahul claimed his sister can do more roles than him.
“She understands that the beauty is that everyone has millions and millions of labels, every single person is unique, everything is unique – someone might see weakness, she’ll see strength – that is my sister,” he said.
